Wooden Doors

Description of Works:

Belhasa Joinery & Decoration (BHJD) is a specialized manufacturer of fire-resistant wooden doors, including those rated for 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes, and 120 minutes of fire resistance, as well as non-fire-resistant doors with a variety of groove designs and finishing materials. All doors are produced in accordance with consultant or client requirements, approved standards, and Civil Defence Authority requirements. As a third-party subcontractor, BHJD works directly with the principal contractor or client to provide and install a full package of wooden door works. We often use Halspan Board for fire-rated doors and Linex Board for non-fire-rated doors. These doors are designed for use in office buildings, industrial warehouses, high-rise structures, retail establishments, hotel apartments, school buildings, and religious structures.

Villa Residences are categorized as non-fire-zone occupancy; therefore, fire-rated doors are not necessarily required. Normally, we use Linex Board for wooden doors located at main entrances, bedrooms, stores, kitchens, laundry rooms, and bathrooms. For main doors, we sometimes use semi-solid panel doors, which are a combination of solid wood stiles and plywood panels with a heat-resistant finish due to their external location and exposure to sunlight. Note: Linex Boards are limited to 1200 mm in width and 2400 mm in height. Therefore, for wooden doors exceeding 2400 mm in height, we recommend using Jumbo MDF for internal doors and semi-solid doors for external applications.
